Once upon a time, Sir Simon de Canterville lived in a fine castle with his wife, Lady Eleanor. Shortly after they were married, Lady Eleanor died in a tragic accident and her brothers accused Sir Simon of her death and put a curse on him. He was starved to death and condemned to spend eternity wandering the empty halls of his once lively castle.

To pass away the long, lonely years, Sir Simon amused himself by haunting any visitors who stayed in his Castle. The years passed, until the day the Otis family arrived from America to spend their summer at Canterville Castle. And now the tables turn as it is the Otis children who terrify Sir Simon. Will Sir Simon ever be free of the curse?
