Since the BVP exploded into existence thirty something years ago, we have collected hundreds of pieces of costumes. Some were bought ready made (the panto cow), some adapted from things from charity shops and what people donate to the group (Cinderella’s clothes made from rags) and some are made specifically for a given actor in a given show (the panto Dames’ dresses).

We try to use our costumes in more than just one production, which means that they all have to be washed, ironed and stored when they are not in use.
